The Arizona Cardinals were the happiest team on the board in the 2006 NFL Football draft when Matt Leinart fell all the way from the 3rd to the10th of the picks. Many expected the Titans to select Matt Leinart, but in the end Vince Young was third of the picks. It is debatable whether Leinart or Young is the best quarterback picked, as Young is a far more gifted natural athlete but Leinart is more fine tuned and a more established leader as a quarterback. The 6'5, 225 pound senior QB led the USC Trojans to two national championships in college football and fell just one play short of a third in 2005. He is the ultimate team player who was just as happy when Reggie Bush won the 2005 Heisman as when he took home the hardware in 2004. Leinart is a precision passer who can get the ball down the field in the National Football League and is exceptional at reading defenses. Some of the only worries about him as an NFL Football quarterback and 3rd of the picks are his arm strength as well as some of the injury problems he has had to his arm over the years.
