Week 4 of the 2010 college football campaign is going to get underway this weekend. Below you will find the current list of 2010 Week 4 NCAA football lines and spreads along with a breakdown of the Week 4 college football lines. Be sure to check out the free NCAA football picks from the expert handicappers at Bankroll Sports this weekend!

The Miami Hurricanes and Pittsburgh Panthers are going to kick off the NCAA football betting weekend on Thursday night from the Steel City in a game that pits two former conference foes against each other. Both teams are 1-1 this season and both are coming off of bye weeks. Needless to say, these two squads are incredibly evenly matched, even in the Heisman Trophy race. Both Miami QB Jacory Harris and U-Pitt RB Dion Lewis are dark horse candidates as Heisman Trophy picks as well.

On Friday night, the TCU Horned Frogs could get one of their sterner tests of the season when they take on the SMU Mustangs in an instate rivalry. The other mid-major player for the National Championship, the Boise State Broncos, will open up their 2010 home slate at the Smurf Turf when they take on the Oregon State Beavers in one of Saturday’s biggest clashes.

The ACC might not have a slew of top teams this year, but there are certainly going to be some interesting matchups to keep an eye on in conference play. The Virginia Tech Hokies didn’t get off to a good start to the season, but head coach Frank Beamer might be able to get his guys ready for a run at the BCS anyway. They’ll start off against the Boston College Eagles. The only undefeated team left in the conference, the NC State Wolfpack, will travel to Atlanta to take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

Top 25 teams are on upset alert across the country on Saturday once again. Leading the way will be the red hot Stanford Cardinal, who are up to #17 in the land and have outscored their foes by 114 points this year. However, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish could just as easily be 3-0 right now as they are 1-2 and will provide a very, very tough task. The undefeated Temple Owls just beat the Connecticut Huskies last week, and they’ll have a chance to do more damage against the Penn State Nittany Lions in Happy Valley. In the Pac-10, the two teams with arguably the best chance of going to the Rose Bowl have tough openers to deal with. The Arizona Wildcats, fresh off of their huge win over the Iowa Hawkeyes, will take on the California Golden Bears at home, while the Oregon Ducks will head to the desert to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils, who came a blocked PAT short of upsetting the Wisconsin Badgers last week.

However, there are three games that all NCAA football betting fans will be glued to this weekend, and all three involve SEC teams.

The LSU Tigers gave up 21 points in the fourth quarter to the North Carolina Tar Heels in Week 1, but if you take that quarter out, they have only conceded 13 for the rest of the season. They’ll have their biggest test of the year against the West Virginia Mountaineers in the late night start in Baton Rouge. Heading into the sea of purple and gold could be devastating for a young quarterback, and QB Geno Smith is about to find out just how tough Cajun Country can be.

In the primetime game of the night, the Auburn Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks will do battle. War Eagle just barely survived last week against the Clemson Tigers in overtime, while South Carolina is going to be facing its first road test. This will be a great matchup between South Carolina’s stout rush defense, which ranks sixth in the country, and Auburn’s amazing trio of rushers, RB Onterio McCalebb, RB Michael Dyer, and QB Cam Newton.

However, in the main course and what might be one of the best games of the entire season, the Arkansas Razorbacks will face the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Tide have been rolling this year, and with a health RB Mark Ingram in the fold, they’re clearly at full strength. Arkansas escaped by upsetting the NCAA football odds last week “Between the Hedges,” and in the process, QB Ryan Mallett might have made himself the Heisman Trophy betting lines favorite. The winner will have a clear inside track to the SEC West title. Alabama has to be careful not to be looking forward to that battle next week at home against the Florida Gators, as this game could be just as difficult, if not harder than that one will be.

Week 5 of the 2010 college football campaign is going to get underway this weekend. Below you will find the current list of 2010 Week 5 NCAA football lines and spreads along with a breakdown of the Week 5 college football lines. Be sure to check out the free NCAA football picks from the expert handicappers at Bankroll Sports this weekend!

Many at the outset of the year thought that this was going to be the biggest week of college football betting action in quite some time. It will inevitably be known as “Separation Saturday” for a number of teams, as the top schools in the land seemingly all collide in what should be a real spectacle for NCAA football betting fans to feast their eyes and their wagers into.

The highlight game, of course, is going to be the duel at Bryant Denny Stadium between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Florida Gators. These two teams have split their last two encounters, both of which have been in the SEC Championship Game. The winner has moved on to the National Championship Game and won that encounter as well. This year, the meeting is just as crucial even though it won’t be as decisive as the SEC Championship. This could very well be the first of two meetings of these teams. Will HC Urban Meyer’s defense be able to stand up to the potent offense of the Crimson Tide? Can QB John Brantley go into one of the most hallowed stadiums in college football and come out with a victory? If he does, it will come as a huge upset, as the Gators are hefty nine point underdogs.

The ‘undercard’ game of sorts will be played at the Cotton Bowl this year, as the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns will meet up. This duel sort of lost a bit of its luster last week when the Longhorns were crushed at home by the UCLA Bruins in a stunning 34-12 upset, but as we all well know, this is a game in which you can throw out the record books. These two teams just hate each other, and the winner of it seemingly always goes on to represent the Big XII South in the Big XII Championship Game. Just has been the case with the Alabama/Florida winner over the L/2 seasons, the winner of this game has played in back to back National Championships, but has been defeated by the SEC champs in both cases. The Sooners are only 3.5 point favorites in spite of the fact that they are now clearly the higher ranked team.

The big rivalry game between the Boston College Eagles and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish is also this weekend. These two teams hate each other about as much as two teams possibly can, and though this game doesn’t mean as much as it once did, don’t tell that to the teams involved. The Irish are 2.5 point road favorites, but inevitably, this game is going to come down to the very end regardless.

One of the biggest road favorites of the weekend are the TCU Horned Frogs, who are expected to easily roll over the Colorado State Rams. They are 33 point chalks even though they are on the road. The Horned Frogs are one of six favorites this week of at least 20 points. The biggest favorites, to no surprise though, are the Boise State Broncos. After rolling past the Oregon State Beavers last week, the Broncos are stunning 41.5 point favorites against the New Mexico State Aggies in Las Cruces.

Week 3 of the 2010 NFL campaign is going to get underway this weekend. Below you will find the current list of 2010 Week 3 NFL lines and spreads along with a breakdown of the Week 3 NFL odds. Be sure to check out the free NFL picks from the expert handicappers at Bankroll Sports this weekend…

There has only been one double digit NFL betting favorite all season long coming into Week 3, but this week, there are already three that are favored by at least ten points and another team that might be there by the time the weekend kicks off.

The Minnesota Vikings might be an 0-2 team, but the oddsmakers think that they are going to crush the Week 3 spread, as they are comfortable ten point favorites over the Detroit Lions. The Lions have been a feisty team so far this season. Even though they are 0-2 SU, they are 2-0 ATS after last week’s backdoor cover against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Vikes badly need a better game out of QB Brett Favre than he has had so far this season, as a ratio of one TD pass to four picks just isn’t going to cut it. If Minnesota doesn’t at least win this game, there is going to be a lot of discussion about whether Favre and/or HC Brad Childress deserve to keep their respective jobs.

The New England Patriots are coming off of a loss last week to the New York Jets, but QB Tom Brady and the gang should have no problems against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills were the only team to be a double digit pup this year, and the end result was a hefty 34-7 romp at the hands of the Green Bay Packers. With New England playing its second game at home and coming off of the bad loss in the Meadowlands, the NFL oddsmakers are expecting to see a hefty final score. The Pats are the biggest chalks of all the week 3 NFL  lines at -13.5.

The Baltimore Ravens are the third double digit favorite this week, as they are 10.5 point home choices against the Cleveland Browns.

Road favorites are en vogue as well in Week 3 betting action. The Cincinnati Bengals are 3.5 point choices over the Carolina Panthers, who will be giving rookie Jimmy Clausen the first start of his career as he hopes to guide the 0-2 Panthers in a new direction. Cincinnati is coming off of an ugly 15-10 win against the Ravens last week to keep within one game in the AFC North standings.

The team leading the pack in the AFC North is the Pittsburgh Steelers, and in spite of the fact that they are playing now with just fourth string quarterback Charlie Batch, they are still at 2-0 both SU and ATS having pulled off a pair of outright upsets as underdogs. They’ll head to the Sunshine State to tango with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are also a surprising 2-0 on the season. These two are expected to put on an ugly affair, as the ‘total’ is set at 34, which is already the lowest of the season and might not be bested this year.

The two games to really keep an eye on this week are going to be played in the south. In the Lone Star State, the surprising 2-0 Houston Texans will take on the 0-2 Dallas Cowboys. Head coach Wade Phillips might be coaching for his job this week, as an 0-3 team going into its bye week certainly won’t be owner Jerry Jones a happy camper. The Texans just won their first overtime game in team history last week and could be off to their first ever 3-0 start if they can beat the 2.5 point spread they are faced with at home on Sunday afternoon.

Sunday Night Football heads to Miami on Sunday night, where the Miami Dolphins at 2-0 can put a huge gap between themselves and the New York Jets. In their home opener, the Fins are 1.5 point favorites to topple the Jets, who were originally favored to win the AFC East at the outset of the season.

Week 3 of the 2010 college football campaign is going to get underway this weekend. Below you will find the current list of 2010 Week 3 college football lines and spreads along with a complete breakdown of the Week three ncaa football spreads. Be sure to check out the free NCAA football picks from the expert handicappers at Bankroll Sports this weekend!

The week 3 schedul will kick off with a respectable duel between the Big East’s Cincinnati Bearcats and the NC State Wolfpack from the ACC. Both of these teams are searching for some respect in their own conferences, and neither team has gotten much support quite yet from their fellow conference mates. Keep a close eye on the young quarterbacks in this game, as NCSU’s Russell Wilson and Cincy’s Zach Collaros could both be future NFL superstars. The current week 3 lines at BetUS have NC State listed as a 2 point favorite.

On Friday, the Nevada Wolfpack are going to try to make a name for themselves. Though the Boise State Broncos and TCU Horned Frogs are stealing the thunder for the mid-majors, this is a Nevada team that is flying under the radar and could be every bit as good as both the Top 10 ranked mid-majors in the country. The Wolfpack are three point underdogs against the California Golden Bears, but they might never be lined like this by the oddsmakers again if they can get off the ground with a big upset on national television.

The best teams in the land are definitely taking a step back from their huge wins in Week 2 of the NCAA football betting campaign. The Alabama Crimson Tide, Ohio State Buckeyes, Boise State Broncos, TCU Horned Frogs, and Oregon Ducks are all at least three TD favorites in what should be cakewalk games. However, life won’t be so easy for all of the ranked teams this week.

The Arkansas Razorbacks have made it all the way up to No. 12 in the nation in the USA Today poll, but that doesn’t mean that they are expected to stay that way. QB Ryan Mallett and the Hogs open up college football betting action on Saturday afternoon as 2.5 point underdogs to the Georgia Bulldogs “Between the Hedges.” Last week, UGA lost in this very same situation as the ranked road team that was a dog to an unranked home team, and it will look to repay the favor as ACC play continues this week.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers, ranked No. 8 in the AP Poll might be in for a dog fight as well. The Washington Huskies have a history of winning big games in Husky Stadium, and QB Jake Locker will try to see to it that that happens once again to a largely untested Big Red team on Saturday. The Huskies are getting a ton of respect though, as they are only 3.5 point underdogs against one of the best teams in the entire country.

The same can be true for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, who are going to be welcoming the Texas Longhorns back to Lubbock for the first time since the epic 39-33 game two years ago in which WR Michael Crabtree made that insane catch and run for the game winning touchdown. The Horns are ranked fifth in the land and could be in for a long, long day against these unranked Red Raiders, who are just 3.5 point dogs.

The game of the week to watch though, is the duel in the desert between the Arizona Wildcats and the Iowa Hawkeyes. These two teams played a tight one last year at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa, but the scene shifts to Arizona now, where HC Mike Stoops is going to be looking for arguably the biggest win in his head coaching career. We know that the Cats can claw with some iffy teams, but the oddsmakers aren’t showing them a lot of respect in this one as 1.5 point pups to QB Ricky Stanzi and the Hawkeyes.

Week 2 of the 2010 NFL campaign is going to get underway this weekend. Below you will find the current list of 2010 week 2 NFL lines and spreads along with a breakdown of the week 2 NFL lines. Be sure to check out the free NFL picks from the expert handicappers at Bankroll Sports this weekend…..

The Manning brothers are going to be highlighting what should be another fantastic week of NFL football wagering action. The New York Giants will send younger brother Eli up against the Indianapolis Colts and older brother Peyton. These teams started off the year in two vastly different directions, as the Colts were run over by the Houston Texans 34-24, while the Giants were busy making mincemeat out the Carolina Panthers 31-18. The current week two lines at Oddsmaker currently have the Colts listed at 5.5 point favorites in their home opener at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The biggest favorites of all the 2010 week two NFL spreads at this point are the Green Bay Packers. The Pack are coming off of an impressive seven point road win at the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, and they are coming home for the first time to take on the Buffalo Bills, who were scorched by the Miami Dolphins 15-10. Green Bay is listed at a big 13 point favorite.

Whereas Week 1 featured a ton of home underdogs, the second week of the regular season only features three hosts that are pups. On Monday Night Football, the San Francisco 49ers will try to rebound from their embarrassing defeat at the Seattle Seahawks by taking on the defending champions, the New Orleans Saints. The black and gold marched over the Minnesota Vikings 14-9 in the opener last Thursday night. San Fran is a 4.5 point home underdog, making it the largest week 2 spread.

The Washington Redskins were 3.5 point underdogs last week when the Dallas Cowboys came to town, and they are once again 3.5 point pups against the other team from the Lone Star State, the Houston Texans. Houston posted arguably its biggest win in franchise history when RB Arian Foster rushed for 231 yards en route to a romp at home of the Indianapolis Colts.

The Detroit Lions probably got screwed out of what would’ve been their first road win in 22 tries against the Chicago Bears last weekend, but they will take on the Philadelphia Eagles, who could be playing without QB Kevin Kolb on Sunday. Kolb suffered a concussion last week and might be held out, especially considering how well QB Michael Vick played in his absence. The hosts are 3.5 point pups.

In the other potential marquee game on the slate in Week 2, the Minnesota Vikings are six point home favorites in QB Brett Favre’s first contest of the year in front of the hometown faithful against the Miami Dolphins.

Complete List of Week 1 College Football Lines Can Be Found Below

Three huge games are going to be highlighting a tremendous weekend of college football betting action, and here at Bankroll Sports, we’ve got all of the odds and ends covered.

The Alabama Crimson Tide are going to most likely be without the services of RB Mark Ingram for this crucial tilt with the Penn State Nittany Lions. As a result, the Tide roll into this one as 12 point favorites, whereas they might have been significantly larger choices had they been a fully fit squad. Penn State’s new QB Robert Bolden is going to be the first freshman to ever face this type of a test under HC Joe Paterno. This could be a very interesting game with a huge payoff for the winner, especially if it is a PSU team that is in dire need of some respect if it hopes to be in the National Championship picture.

The Florida State Seminoles picked up a big victory to start the HC Jimbo Fisher era last week against Samford, but things can change this week in a hurry against the Oklahoma Sooners. OU is going to have to rebound quickly from a poor showing in a 31-24 win over the Utah State Aggies. QB Landry Jones could be in for a good game against an FSU secondary that was terrorized at times last year. Still, the garnet and gold are only 7.5 point underdogs and could be in a position to pull an upset of similar proportions this year as they did last season at BYU.

That FSU/Oklahoma game is one of the two battles this week that mark rematches of National Championship Games. The other is the duel between the Miami Hurricanes and the Ohio State Buckeyes, who squared off in the Fiesta Bowl in 2003 in an epic overtime tussle won by OSU. This year, the Bucks are going to be the decided 8.5 point favorites as opposed to the double digit dogs they were when all the marbles were on the line seven years ago. There are two major Heisman Trophy contenders in this game, as QB Jacory Harris for the Canes and QB Terrelle Pryor for the Buckeyes. These two are going to need big efforts to not only improve their team’s chances of sticking in the National Championship race, but to bolster their chances of going to New York as a Heisman Trophy finalist in December.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Michigan Wolverines are going to collide in a duel of epic historical proportions. Both of these teams got off to a good start this year by picking off reasonable opponents. Still, both are going to look for a tremendous effort against the other. Though first year head coach Brian Kelly at Notre Dame might not be on a hot seat, HC Rich Rodriguez still needs some more wins at Michigan to save his skin and potentially his coaching career. He’ll have QB Denard Robinson on his side after having a fantastic game last week against the Connecticut Huskies.

For the second straight week, the San Jose State Spartans are the biggest underdog on the board. They are 38.5 point underdogs at Camp Randall in the home opener for the Wisconsin Badgers.

The first week of the 2010 NFL football regular season is nearly here! In order to get you prepped for all of the festivities, Bankroll Sports has our analysis along with quick rundown of all the week 1 NFL lines and everything else you need to know for the opening week of the year!

Where else could we start than with a rematch of the epic NFC Championship Game?!?! The New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings will get the season started with their opening game broadcasted on NBC. We now know that the Vikings are going to have QB Brett Favre under center, but there is still a significant question whether or not he is really ready to go. Favre took a beating in this game last year and after throwing no TDs and two picks in the preseason, there is reason to believe that this could be a long night in the Bayou.

The biggest favorites of Week 1 at this point are the New York Giants against the Carolina Panthers. The G-Men are favored by a full seven points. This is a rare week with a ton of chalk coming on the road, but double digit favorites will inevitably become avaiable for hosts again next week.

Brand new quarterbacks are going to be en vouge for various NFL teams in Week 1, the Panthers of which are one of them. In all likelihood, Matt Moore will be starting on Opening Day for Carolina, marking the first time that Jake Delhomme didn’t start under center for the team in a number of years. Speaking of Delhomme, he’ll be the new man in charge for the Cleveland Browns, who are three point underdogs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1.

The quarterback changes continue in Pittsburgh, where QB Ben Roethlisberger will be suspended for at least the first month of the season. With Byron Leftwich battling an injured knee, it appears as though Dennis Dixon is going to be given the task of leading the troops in black and gold into battle against the Atlanta Falcons. The hosts are rare underdogs at home, as they are 2.5 point pups.

The only rookie quarterback that is starting in Week 1 is Sam Bradford with the St. Louis Rams. Bradford, the team’s top pick in the NFL Draft, clearly outplayed QB AJ Feeley for the starting job, particularly in a road win at the New England Patriots in the third week of the preseason. St. Louis is hosting the Arizona Cardinals, another team getting used to a new quarterback. QB Derek Anderson performed well enough in the Cards’ exhibitions that QB Matt Leinart, once considered the future of the franchise, was released outright. Anderson and the rest of his Arizona mates are four point road favorites at the Edward Jones Dome.

Both the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins will be playing new QBs as well. The ‘Skins made arguably the move of the offseason by trading for long-time Eagles QB Donovan McNabb. McNabb’s Redskins were once 3.5 point pups to their rivals, the Dallas Cowboys at home in Week 1, but with McNabb still up in the air injured, the line has been taken off the board. For Philadelphia, QB Kevin Kolb is the man in charge of the team now that McNabb is gone. Kolb showed plenty of promise in his few appearances before McNabb departed, but the oddsmakers aren’t showing the Eagles any love. They are short three point home underdogs to the Green Bay Packers in Week 1.

New Meadowlands Stadium will be opening with both the New York Giants and New York Jets will be playing in Week 1. The Giants will kick off against Carolina, while the Jets are going to be playing on Monday Night Football against the Baltimore Ravens. The home team is favored by 2.5 points in that NFL betting encounter.
