7/15/2012: (Positive) The SportsBetting.com brand has been acquired by the same group that owns another top sponsor of ours, BetOnline. While this doesn't immediately fix the band's poor reputation that was left from the previous owners, it changing their grades in several areas including; bonus size, deposit options, & payout speed as BetOnline has been pretty good in these areas. We believe this is a good thing and will eventually prove to fix the reputation of this book; and bring it back to the list of trustworthy books. We have adjusted their grade accordingly in a few areas.
11/29/2008: (Negative) Our staff has had to step in for two customers in order to resolve payout issues. The first of the two issues was solved and customers needs were met. He received his payout with no further delay. However, in the second of two disputes, SportsBetting.com acted in a matter that Bankroll Sports does not approve of. In this case, the customer's funds were seized by SportsBetting.com. The reason for SportsBetting.com seizing the funds was because the customer had more then one account with another affiliated book and he had the incorrect birthday listed on two of these account. They chose to resort to their terms of service which has a rule preventing customers from using multiple accounts to circumvent their book's limits. However, the TOS rule did not apply in this case. This book has been deducted from their reputation, service, and overall grade. We have checked them with a warning in this matter. Any future disputes could jeopardize our endorsement in this book. If you are considering using SportsBetting.com,, we still suggest that you do so. However, if you would like more information on these dispute cases, we would be happy to explain in further detail if you contact customer service.
11/15/2008: (Positive) SportsBetting.com will be offering a Thanksgiving promotion which features a bigger bonus to all players. This bonus is good for initial and reload deposits. They are marketing this promotion as a 60% bonus. However, you do not really receive 60% on your deposit. They are adding up the bonus offers from three different days, strictly to make it sound better then it really is. Here are the bonus amounts and the days they are offering the bonus;
